“Wello jokers tokers and smokers… welcome to this here new Razor Cut Site. Razor Cut is the new band created from the ashes of the now defunct Uninvited Guest (May she rest in peace ).
Well….actually, to be precise Razor Cut was created in February of 2011 by Dean ‘Sweeney’ Hathaway (vocalist, lyricist, tantrums and tiara’s and occasional drug’s mule ) and Ricky Raze (guitarist, programmer, sex god and dedicated Internet porn researcher). Razor Cut was originally intended as a side project to Uninvited Guest but it became clear as time went by (and with the imminent collapse the previous band) that it was to become much more than that. Uninvited Guest split in June 2011, and Razor Cut by this time was well on its way to having a full album of material written…but there was a piece of the plan missing, So Dean and Ricky asked old band mate Jane Dalton (Bass guitarist, web designer + DJ) if she would like to join and complete the line up…she said yes…and there you have it, Razor Cut was completed in July 2011.
The band is currently in the process of completing their debut album, which will hopefully be ready for your eager ears in the autumn… but fear not, there will be tracks posted online and on this site VERY soon, keep checking back to this news section for up to date details. Razor Cut music is a combination of dance drum beats, heavy guitars , dirty synthe and catchy infectious melodies with a large dose FUN thrown in for good measure. We’re very proud of it and we cant wait for you to hear it.
